The lodge consists of two buildings which are located on a steady, about 6 kilometers from the mouth of the river. Several hundred yards above the camp, the river
splits into the Northwest Feeder, and the Hawke River. The camp is run on generators, as no power is available in this area.
We are in the process of installing a reliable two way telephone system for the 2004 season. We provide accommodations for 8 anglers at a time, with 4 double rooms, showers, and hot and cold running water. Our season begins in late June and runs until mid August. Each season will have a specific start and close date. The Lodge provides hearty home cooked meals, breads, and desserts. Any special food requests or allergy information should be provided to us well in advance of your trip. Supplies are not always easy to come by, and everything has to be flown into camp. If you have any special food or liquor request simply make the friendly staff at Hawke River Outfitters aware of your order prior to your visit to the lodge and we will have your requested items on hand when you arrive. Associated costs are extra. This information would be appreciated when your registration is confirmed or shortly thereafter. |
