A plane taking off from the water

Getting Here

Located 6 kilometres from the mouth of the Hawke River in a remote part of Newfoundland and Labrador, our wilderness fly-in camp is accessible in a number of ways. Whichever road you choose to take, you may run into delays. When you do, simply smile, move on and ready yourself for an incredible Atlantic Salmon experience.

Direct Route

Fly by commercial airlines into Goose Bay, Labrador. You must then continue your 4-5 hour journey by car to Charlottetown.

If you do not have ground transportation, we can arrange to have you picked up and driven at an additional cost.

Upon arriving in Charlottetown, a floatplane will then take you to Hawke River Lodge.

Our groundman Sandy Campbell, will make sure you are well taken care of, and will share local folklore and history you can handle.

Scenic Route

Fly by commercial airliner to Deer Lake, Newfoundland. Rent a car to drive to the Northern Peninsula of Newfoundland and take the ferry to Labrador. Continue your drive to Charlottetown.
